Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology arrived on smartphones and tablets in 2010 with Bluetooth version 4.0. It is therefore compatible with a wide range of devices. Energy-efficient, the sensor can operate for up to 7.5 years before replacing its battery.
EN 12830 is required for temperature monitoring in means of transport, warehousing and storage of deep-frozen foodstuffs intended for human consumption, to ensure that the temperature is correctly recorded. In accordance with EU regulations dated January 1, 2006, all measuring instruments used to monitor temperature must comply with EN 12830. Food sector operators must keep all relevant documents enabling them to check that the above-mentioned instruments comply with the corresponding EN standard.
